Hi friends,

Welcome to The Dinner Dispatch — our hot-off-the-grill weekly-ish note for dinner club owners, soon-to-launch hosts, and curious community builders following along.

This week: Sponsorships are live, video announcements are working, and we’re celebrating the very first DNNR dinner club as it approaches its one-year anniversary.

Freshly Served: Sponsorships are live

You can now add sponsors directly to your dinner campaigns.

Upload a sponsor logo, add their link, and your sponsor will get visibility across guest communications — including emails, SMS, and your event page.

It’s a simple way to offset costs, create a new revenue stream, or bring aligned local and national partners into the experience you’re already building. Hot tip: some creators get a $1,000 sponsor for every dinner campaign they do!

You can set it up in your campaign settings under Sponsors.

A quick note on pricing: when you embed a sponsor into a dinner club campaign, the take rate for that campaign increases by 10%. That means the standard 30% platform take rate becomes 40% for sponsored campaigns.

In other words: more sponsor value, more revenue potential, same dinner magic.

Host Tip: Announce with video — it works

Instagram post

Dinner clubs that announce new dates with a short video consistently get more signups.

The good news: it does not need to be polished.

A simple 30-second video of you talking to camera can do the job. Tell people what the dinner is, why they should come, and when and where it’s happening.

A strong video announcement usually includes:

Your face
The date
The city
The vibe (use photos from previous dinners)
A clear reason to sign up now

Think less “perfect promo video” and more “personal invitation.”

People are much more likely to show up when they feel like a real person is inviting them to the table.

Spotlight: Troy Farkas, Seacoast Stories

Instagram post

This week’s featured dinner club is a special one.

Our very first user Troy Farkas hosted the Seacoast Stories Dinner Club on July 16, 2025 and he’s approaching his first dinner-versary!

Nearly one year later, Troy has hosted 18 dinners campaigns across the Seacoast, NH area, and welcomed more than 1,000 guests to the table.

We’re so grateful to Troy for trusting us with his community and for all the learnings he’s shared along the way. He’s a trailblazer in every sense of the word and we wouldn’t be here without him.

Troy proves the model: start small, stay consistent, and let your community grow with you.

🥳 Congrats on year one, Troy. We’re so grateful you were the first to pull up a chair.

One last bite

The dinner clubs that win are the ones that keep showing up.

Launch the next date. Tell the story. Invite people personally. Try the video. Bring in a sponsor. Keep building the habit.

We’ll keep sending what we’re learning from the clubs already doing it.
